Work
Organizing an exhibition is a lengthy process. It requires supporting curatorial scholarship over several years, securing loans and creating a checklist, marketing the exhibition to a number of museums to form a viable tour, and editing and publishing a catalog with the results of new research. Education is at the heart of our mission. Every exhibition is enriched with an educational component that addresses a diverse audience. A catalog produced by a major publisher accompanies the exhibition. Interpretative wall text and an illustrated brochure orient museum visitors. A family guide, when appropriate, offers initiation to a younger audience. Large-type brochures, videos, websites, and audio-guide programs are other options to extend the reach of the exhibition.
